日本社會(huì)科學(xué)雜志（SSJJ）發(fā)表關(guān)于現(xiàn)代日本的高質(zhì)量學(xué)術(shù)論文。所有社會(huì)科學(xué)學(xué)科（人類學(xué)、經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)、歷史、法律、政治學(xué)和社會(huì)學(xué)）都有代表性，包括日本國(guó)際關(guān)系研究和與其他國(guó)家的比較。SSJJ的實(shí)質(zhì)性的書(shū)評(píng)部分包括對(duì)日本社會(huì)的英語(yǔ)和日語(yǔ)專著的評(píng)論。SSJJ偶爾會(huì)在日本發(fā)表研究材料調(diào)查和學(xué)術(shù)辯論，以及評(píng)論日本社會(huì)在各國(guó)的研究現(xiàn)狀。

Social Science Japan Journal (SSJJ) publishes high-quality, refereed scholarly articles on modern Japan. All social science disciplines (anthropology, economics, history, law, political science, and sociology) are represented, including studies of Japan’s international relations and comparisons with other countries.SSJJ’s substantial book review section contains reviews of English and Japanese language monographs on Japanese society. SSJJ occasionally publishes surveys of research materials and scholarly debates in Japan, as well as reviews ofthe current state of research on Japanese society in various countries.
