《燃料電池科學(xué)和技術(shù)雜志》發(fā)表經(jīng)同行評(píng)審的檔案學(xué)術(shù)文章、研究論文、技術(shù)簡(jiǎn)報(bào)，以及關(guān)于各種類型燃料電池的科學(xué)、工程和制造等各方面的專題文章。具體的重要領(lǐng)域包括但不限于：組成材料的開(kāi)發(fā)、連接、結(jié)合、連接、相間/相間區(qū)域以及密封、電池設(shè)計(jì)、加工和制造、多尺度建模、聯(lián)合和耦合行為、老化。出版的大部分論文將介紹原始的學(xué)術(shù)著作，但一些已出版的論文將介紹案例研究、新穎的過(guò)程、最近的研究、開(kāi)發(fā)或制造的進(jìn)展、現(xiàn)場(chǎng)堆疊測(cè)試的結(jié)果等。涉及燃料電池政策或監(jiān)管問(wèn)題的檔案文件也將屬于期刊的范圍。此外，還將出版特刊，其中載有具體燃料電池會(huì)議的論文。

The Journal of Fuel Cell Science and Technology publishes peer-reviewed archival scholarly articles, Research Papers, Technical Briefs, and feature articles on all aspects of the science, engineering, and manufacturing of fuel cells of all types. Specific areas of importance include, but are not limited to: development of constituent materials, joining, bonding, connecting, interface/interphase regions, and seals, cell design, processing and manufacturing, multi-scale modeling, combined and coupled behavior, aging, durability and damage tolerance, reliability, availability, stack design, processing and manufacturing, system design and manufacturing, power electronics, optimization and control, fuel cell applications, and fuels and infrastructure.The majority of the papers published will present original scholarly work, but a number of published papers will describe, for example, case studies, novel processes, recent research, development or manufacturing advancements, results from on-site stack tests, etc. Archival papers addressing policy or regulatory issues relating to fuel cells will also fall under the scope of the journal. Special issues will also be published that contain the papers of specific fuel cell conferences.
