世界各地的制造業(yè)變化非常迅速。正在開發(fā)和利用新的概念和方法，以實(shí)現(xiàn)高效和有效的制造。現(xiàn)有的制造工藝正在改進(jìn)，以滿足精益和敏捷制造的要求。《工程制造雜志》的目的是通過出版原創(chuàng)論文和綜述論文，為工程制造領(lǐng)域的這些發(fā)展提供一個(gè)重點(diǎn)，涵蓋制造業(yè)的技術(shù)和科學(xué)研究、發(fā)展和管理實(shí)施。這本雜志也是同行評(píng)審的。歡迎在制造工藝、制造技術(shù)和工廠自動(dòng)化、數(shù)字制造、設(shè)計(jì)和制造系統(tǒng)（包括與工程制造相關(guān)的管理）等廣泛領(lǐng)域作出貢獻(xiàn)。目前特別感興趣的是有關(guān)數(shù)字制造、計(jì)量支持制造、智能工廠、添加劑制造和復(fù)合材料以及納米技術(shù)、可持續(xù)清潔制造和生物制造等專業(yè)制造領(lǐng)域的論文。文章可以是研究論文、評(píng)論、技術(shù)筆記或簡(jiǎn)短的交流。

Manufacturing industries throughout the world are changing very rapidly. New concepts and methods are being developed and exploited to enable efficient and effective manufacturing. Existing manufacturing processes are being improved to meet the requirements of lean and agile manufacturing. The aim of the Journal of Engineering Manufacture is to provide a focus for these developments in engineering manufacture by publishing original papers and review papers covering technological and scientific research, developments and management implementation in manufacturing. This journal is also peer reviewed.Contributions are welcomed in the broad areas of manufacturing processes, manufacturing technology and factory automation, digital manufacturing, design and manufacturing systems including management relevant to engineering manufacture. Of particular interest at the present time would be papers concerned with digital manufacturing, metrology enabled manufacturing, smart factory, additive manufacturing and composites as well as specialist manufacturing fields like nanotechnology, sustainable & clean manufacturing and bio-manufacturing.Articles may be Research Papers, Reviews, Technical Notes, or Short Communications.
